Story
Tony is whistling through the house. His controlling parents want to protect him mainly because as soon as he takes off his mask and gloves, he catches fire. But his new girlfriend, Shelly, doesn’t seem to mind at all, because their house is shrouded in darkness. I saw this film as part of the FEST film festival and it was cool enough to be in Czech with subtitles. I recommend watching it in the original. The film is about our inner world and how it changes others. The action takes place in a fairytale town during the snowy and festive season. Abstract and colorful, it attracts the attention of both adults and children. The beautifully animated characters and world give the film a dreamlike atmosphere. The plot is simple and charming, sometimes slow and focused on visual and audio experiences. I would rate it even higher, but at its core it is still an animated film aimed at children.
