: What’s the qualification?
Story
The spirits of a deceased couple are haunted by an insufferable family who have moved into their home and hire an evil spirit to exorcise them. This is Michael Keaton’s favorite movie. When Otho spray paints the walls of the house, the shoes change from red firefighter elf shoes to white sneakers as he walks through the bathroom, then back to red elf shoes as he enters the next room. Beetlejuice: Ah. Well… I went to Juilliard… I graduated from Harvard Business School.
I travel quite extensively
I lived through the Black Death and had a great time during that time. I’ve seen The Exorcor about a hundred and sixty-seven times, and it gets funnier every time, do you think? Do you think I qualify? The Geffen Company logo is accompanied by a strange version of the song Banana Boat (sung by the film’s composer Danny Elfman). This version of the film is about 2 minutes shorter than the theatrical release, has a few extra scenes and is missing others, is in black and white, and has a timecode at the bottom. This version has 4 major differences:
Alternate Scene:
The scene where Adam tries to leave the house after he and his wife die is different. Instead of a desert, he sees an empty darkness filled with spinning teeth.

Additional Scenes:
A scene was added where Lydia develops the photos she took of Adam and Barbra. Then, when her mother yells at her and accuses her of cutting holes in her sheets, Lydia runs upstairs and tries to convince her father that the photos are real. There is more to the scene where the adults are searching for ghosts in the attic, as we saw a desert monster trying to eat Adam and Barbra while they were hanging from the attic window. Finally, there is an additional 2 minute scene where we see Lydia riding her bike home from school and her parents talking to Jane on the phone telling her they don’t want to sell the house. Lydia’s dance scene is shorter in this version, and there is no scene with Beetlejuice in the waiting room. The film ends with the final exterior shot of the house. Attaway & Irving Burgie (as Lord Burgess)] Performed by Harry Belafonte courtesy of RCA Records. This is a great movie to watch and just enjoy – no need to think or analyze – just enjoy the silliness and coolness of this lovely movie. A young couple (Alec Baldwin and Gina Davis) living in their dream home are accidentally killed and then live as ghosts in the house. Some time later, a weird family (Jeffery Jones, Catherine O’Hara) and their disgruntled daughter (Winona Ryder) move in – lots of ghosts. annoyed. Indeed, instead of respecting the charm of a beautiful house, the parents want to turn it into a pseudo-intellectual monster house. However, Winona is able to see ghosts and communicate with them, but her parents can’t believe they exist or that they are doing anything wrong in the house.
So, in desperation, they seek the help of the worst and most repulsive ghost, Beetle Juice (Michael Keaton)
A dead couple tries to scare the family away, but their attempts are really lame (and funny) and it makes the weirdos want to stay even more! The problem is that while Beetle Juice can scare the living daylights out of anyone, it’s also completely insane and once unleashed, it’s surprisingly hard to stop. The movie has a lot of things you’d expect to see in a Tim Burton movie: weird special effects, weird sets (when the weirdos move out), fun, and a definite “cool factor.” The actors do a good job, too.
